The balls speeds up on every hit, up to reality-breaking velocities. The goal is to hit your opponent with an anti-gravity ball using strikes, bunts, parries, throws and special abilities. Toxic has a network of graffiti writers spread out over the city that give her the low-down on all the happenings in the streets.Lethal League Blaze is an intense, high speed ball game, with unique characters and out of sight sounds. She sports a huge mechanical arm, loaded with spray cans, which she uses to complete the paint wherever she pleases. Creativeness is the law with toxic, being able to dish out many complex attacks with relative ease, though you may have to spend some time learning to ball hog in order to execute some of her better offensive options. Finally, you can use spray as a defensive mechanism, eliminating the need to focus on certain spots of the map, or outright covering almost all of your hitbox. Double sprays and clear, consistent parry setups are great ways to bait and punish your opponent’s covers. ![]() If you have a spray placed somewhere and the ball is flying around, the opponent must be weary of it at all times, and the possibility to send spray into a different direction from your angle is also a big boon. It forces your opponent to either tap charge or be very precise, all in a short amount of time. Spray really makes this character, though. However, her clinging can be somewhat awkward, whereas latch has a much easier time with vertical movement on the wall. Her ability to cling to the wall allows for some good ball hogging, especially if you have a spray down, as the opponent must be weary of the possible reaction check and / or timing mixup. You can make a case that air down, up and bspike can be used as good ball hogging angles, as they are either wide or very tight, but her movement and height do take some points away from her ability to control the ball. Some of her angles have just enough deviation from the norm that it allows her to have a slight offensive boost, particularly up, gdown and fspike. Toxic isn’t as clearly defined as some of the other characters, but she does have some advantages when it comes to ball hogging and offense, as well as a slight defensive boost, particularly through the use of spray.
